Temperament:
A bleeding heart, for a mercenary. Sulhi would immediately come across as warm, welcoming. Often quietly studying whomever it is she has the pleasure of speaking with. Asking questions, drawing more of the who out of you while making the atmosphere for conversation as comfortable as possible. This amicable attitude carries into her line of work, never seeing things one way. Though this can sometimes conflict with the terms of a contract, or the expectations of directness a blade for hire is normally known for. Targets can be shown mercy, or even let free should their crimes amount to nothing hardly worth drawing blood or leaving bruises for. However her mercy should not be mistaken for weakness. Despite her disposition making her slower to anger, she will make her point well demonstrated and is not quick to forgive.

Predominately Vieran accent(can be inferred as Icelandic/Swedish), that swaps to a Dalmascan accent(can be inferred as Arabic/Syrian) when using Common words with lower vowels. Such as water or stir.

Skillset

Swordsmanship:
Dual discipline between Dalmascan longsword stances and techniques with Doman Iajutsu. Over time, use between the two styles created a mixed swordsman that blends the longsword defensive stances with Iajutsu's powerful single strikes.

Pugilism:
Trained in Eastern styles of striking and full contact pugilism. Capable of transitioning into groundwork through throws and holds. At her most advanced, she has unlocked a single Chakra. But due to being informally trained, she has no functional idea how to make use of this ability.

Marksmanship:
Sulhi's discipline of her jungle upbringing and the strongest familiarity. Bordering on mastery. Her ability to gauge distance using heightened natural senses to stalk and ambush targets allows her to take marks from a distance of sub-130 fulms at peak potential accuracy.

Scouting:
Far more proficient in wilderness locales than urban areas in terms of forward scouting and remaining undetected. Low-light scenarios in urban environments are preferable in efforts with remaining unseen.

Alchemy:
Largely familiar with the use of medicinal salves, pastes, and other simple herbal remedies for use in first aid and field tending. If given the use of an alchemy station she can create modest efficacy healing potions. Best used to treat physical ailments, rather than magical. Can also create poisons, weapon oils and coatings that are usable against man, beast, and certain monsters alike. This solely requires the use of a station and per-preparation(Done via a 1d6 roll a day before the expected combat scene for how many uses the poison has. One use is good for one attack. What the effect of the poison can be discussed prior).

Aether:
Sulhi's understanding of Aether is as a living, breathing entity. The lifeforce of the Star, its breath as well as its blood. These beliefs being cultivated by the Vieran relationship with Golmore, the jungle a living entity. Due to this, Sulhi excels in using Aether through physical applications. Augmentation, meditation, and bodily evocation. This talent being fully known to her after learning the meditation styles of both Monks and Samurai. Finding the overlap quite comfortable. She commonly augments her weaponry with Aether as well. Most notably through her swordsmanship.
Magic and spell casting is something she cannot grasp. The more "mental" aspect of magic is at odds with her personal understanding of Aether.

Golmore Jungle, Dei-Ijla Village
Year 1445 6AE, born under the Dei-Ijla, her birthplace village and former surname. Do you remember a kindly, free spirited gatherer who often spent a lot more time outside the village than one who is expected to return before dusk?

Mercenary for hire in Rabanastre and Valnain
Between the years 1507 to 1535 6AE, a Viera began making the rounds as a hire for any jobs that needed an able body. Scout, Guide, Mercenary, Guard, Supplier? Commonly working with a Hrothgar Pugilist?

Eastern Explorer
Year 1536 to 1547 6AE, Sulhi's travels had taken her beyond Othard and into Doma, Hingashi, and Thavnair. Still a blade for hire, but an explorer eager to absorb new cultures with her newfound understanding of Hyurian language. Have you hired a Viera in the East? Did you meet a curious wandering ronin freshly taken up the katana? A warrior traveling the Steppes? Or a "pretender Auspice" raising the tempers of superstitious Hingan locals? Maybe a Viera who would often be seen frequenting Mehryde's Meyhane leering at the job board?
(Endwalker Spoiler)If you participated in assisting the Radiant Host with fighting back the horrors of the Final Days, maybe you fought alongside her. Directly, or indirectly.

Dalmascan Resistance and Lente's Tears
During the year 1547 6AE to year 5 7UE Sulhi had lent her hand freely between the splintered groups of the Dalmascan Resistance. Participating in escort operations, freeing prisoners, fighting Garlean soldiers head on, and ambushing supply chains. She had first gained awareness of Lente's Tears following the efforts of guiding refugees from Rabanastre to Orbonne Monastery. Between the thousands of faces and names in the Resistance yours could've been one of them.

Eastern Viera finding work on Western Shores
At current it's been close to a year since Sulhi arrived on the continent of Eorzea, but there's still much Sulhi has not seen or experienced for herself. She continues to ply her usual trade alongside finding new people and lives to engage herself with. Now with war and strife behind her, she wants to see the land of the famed Eorzean Alliance. She's regularly seen between Horizon and Ul'dah and will often travel to Vylbrand to enjoy the crisp sea air and fruits of the orchards. The Shroud offers her exciting hunts and reminds her most closely of home, so during wistful days she'd take trips here to clear her mind. Ishgard and Coerthas has been the least enjoyable experience in her estimations. Originally working there on contracted work for a short while. She has plans to visit Gyr Abania and beyond, so if you frequent these areas you may have seen her! She's always available for a talk.

Criminals, Bounties, and the Lawless
Sulhi's work regularly has her seeking bounties and chasing the criminal element for gil and excitement both. How she handles a wanted person depends largely on their general disposition and severity of the crime. Have a character with a bounty you're interested in being looked into? A well-known criminal who slips from the shackles of the law? Or a misunderstood roguish type? Or most favorably, a Sky Pirate? Sulhi may have taken a bounty after you or followed rumors leading to you! Or are you someone who deals in an "independent" market? Sulhi could be tempted to make a deal, if you can convince her.

Alchemists, Weapon Smithy's, and Tailors
Sulhi's always in need of potions and poisons, are you an alchemist who takes commissions? Her tulwar and longbow will need regular maintenance, if you have an interest in her weaponry and would like to advertise yourself feel free! After every outing there's always going to be more tear added to her wear, do you stitch and leather work for a living?

Social Butterfly
Frequent any bars? Taverns? Inns? Like to wander about? Someone who does odd jobs or finds yourself in the outdoors often? Regardless where you are or what you're up to, Sulhi is always down for a good conversation and making a new acquaintance! Sulhi might approach you if you pique her interest, or you can approach her. No strings attached or any specific prior motivation. Say hello, and she'll be happy to talk.

Heightened Flow of Aether (Higher Difficulty Hook)
For those with Aethersight or a means of being able to sense, detect, or visualize aether; you can see that Sulhi's flow of aether is uncommonly harmonious. One might describe it as the way currents of wind or water naturally flows and develops. Her amount of aether is the average among all mortal races, but when in use it flows with great efficiency. Spending less to do more.

Two Missing Friends (Personal Narrative Hook)
When Sulhi first gained her footing in Rabanastre, she befriended two men. Zanfaar, a Dalmascan Hyur who was a chronicler of Ivalician History, that taught her how to formally speak Dalmascan as well basic Common. Varjazahn, a Bozjan Pugilist who had goals for mastering his body beyond the limits of his ignorance, seeking a Monsastic Order to challenge him.
Zanfaar was conscripted into the IVth Legion, and was part of the research team excavating the Ridorana Lighthouse following the battle for the Auricite. Varjazahn had discovered the Fists of Rhalgr, and narrowly escaped the Mad King's purging of the order. Returning home in defeat only to find soon after Bozja would be invaded by the Galemald. He has not been seen since. The two would speak fondly of Sulhi to anyone they'd have crossed paths and spoke with for a length of time. Could you have met them and find that Sulhi matches the description of their old Vieran friend?

Mist (Viera Specific Hook/FF12 Lore)
Golmore and Skatay born Viera would know the term "Aether" as "Mist". Viera are sensitive to it, and can detect high concentrations of it. Even going so far as to become frenzied by it under over-exposure. (This is at the players discretion/permission) If you are a being comprised of heavy amounts of aether, such as a Fae or otherwise naturally possessing higher amounts of aether than the average mortal, Sulhi may be sensitive to your presence.

OOC and IC
IC is not OOC. I'm very strict about this. OOC I am a very introverted person and I often like spending time by myself or with close friends. Greetings/Tells are fine, but do not seek me out unannounced or try to monopolize my time.

Level of Roleplay
I welcome all types and experience levels. Beginner, Experienced, Casual, and Hardcore. While I would like good grammar and punctuation, if I understand what you're saying I won't be particular about it.

Themes, Setting, and Flags
Sulhi is meant to fit low to high fantasy best. I don't have any plans to include her in Solution Nine or Alexandrian focused settings and roleplays, as well as the tech level for the time being. Allagan and Garlean settings are acceptable. I'm happy roleplaying from slice of life to dark themes. I prefer discussing your Yellow/Red Flags as I am pretty lenient.

Mod Usage
I very clearly use cosmetic mods, but mods are not expected out of people nor necessary for me to roleplay with someone.

Romance/Erotic Roleplay
!!!YOU MUST BE 21+ FOR ANY ADULT THEMES OR ROMANCE!!!
Romance and erotic encounters must be built with chemistry and a narrative build up and payoff. I will only engage Sulhi with committed romance if I trust both you and your character to play it as something worth exploring. No shipping, or egregiously pushing for a solely erotic encounter. One-night stands are fine, but make it interesting. Make her interested. Do not discuss only erotic topics ooc'ly. If you cannot drive conversation and follow up scenes without the goal of ERP, we're not compatible and I will not have any further interest in interacting.

Level of Power
Sulhi's capability is within the realm of MSQ characters like Thancred, or pre-Aelxandria Zoraal Ja at her absolute best. As such, I plan to keep her in the level of a well-trained and accomplished adventurer. She wouldn't be a good fit in stories utilizing higher concepts such as Ascians, Ancients, or Entelechy's. I prefer low to mid tier characters/threats.

Lore Accuracy
As 14's lore and worldly mechanics are rather open ended and borrow from other FF titles, I like to play within what's reasonably believable within the setting. I'm not a lore purist, but I do like adherence to the concepts and rules set by the world building.

Dice Rolls vs. Free Form
Dice Rolls feel swingy to me and not conducive to character capabilities without a proper system to employ. I will use raw D20 rolls at times for the flavor of it, but I mostly just follow my characters gut and talents in a situation. I am open to using any dice system you use, regardless.

Character Harm and PvP
This is something of an extension to the above point. I'm willing to accept bodily harm, and lasting wounds to my characters. From bruises and scars, to broken bones and even dismemberment. However, I would not to leave those up to Dice Rolls, and have extremes like that be something of a narrative consequence so it feels more natural in the moment and the long term.

Overworld over The Quicksand
I will typically try and get roleplay moving outside The Quicksand. I am fine with walk-ups and ic chats inside the famous tavern from time to time, but we have a huge world. Lets make use of it. If it becomes a consistent thing where I can only get rp from you in just The Quicksand, or any other one-note hub I'll quickly lose interest.

• Prefer players over the age of 21+. I'm not interested in roleplayers and characters under the age of 18. Child characters as part of a story is acceptable.

• Interest in lower scale to escalating stakes, and short or long term stories.

• I will commonly source FF Tactics and FF12 for material to use with Sulhi. As well as be open to headcanon for the Viera villages.

• No WoL, NPC's, or IMVU/VRChat adjacent avatars.

• Any form of bigotry, racism, trans/homophobia will get you blacklisted without warning. I will not interact if you have unsavory terminology for your character. Including terms rooted in transphobia and transfetishism such as: Trap, Futa, and F+. Phenotypical descriptors such as: Pureblood in a context that makes no sense, Feral, Animalistic, or Primitive for describing a character with a tribal background, and Exotic when referring to an ethnic race or darker skin complexion. If you have questions about this, ask.

• Greatly prefer PSync over Lightless but I can offer a code for either or.

• A RpHub, Carrd, or some manner of roleplay profile that has basic details of your character and OOC preferences is highly encouraged. I am far less likely to walk-up or interact if you lack one.

• No Generative AI.

I am open to tells and discussion about your character and roleplay collaboration! If I don't respond right away, nine times out of ten I'm just away from my keyboard. If you have questions or concerns about any of my stylistic preferences listed above please by all means, ask! They're there as a guideline of what I personally look for, not really a hard set of rules. Discord for contact is not granted unless we've had multiple roleplays between each other and you are trusted enough to have out of game contact.
